Coil Speaker – R.I.P.

Today is a sad day for those who loved Coil Speaker. At 90 years old, Coil Speakers are dead (yes, all of them). Coil Speakers led a sound life, full of music, laughter and the latest news on your local television network. Coil Speakers enjoyed riding in cars, sitting around living rooms, and hugging the heads of mostly young people. Today we bury Coil Speakers, never to be heard from again.

Coil Speakers death follows that of cassette & 8 track tapes, in-car audio equalizers, the phonograph, boom boxes, and the rotary dial. Survivors are Coil Speakers distant relatives, the bi-amp, transducer system and the horn. Also surviving, and doing rather well I must say considering the grim circumstances, SpeakerWrap.

Services will be held the world over in bedrooms, living rooms, retail stores and in your car. Be sure to say your “goodbyes” soon, as time is running out.
